About TrackAura

TrackAura is a free price tracking platform built for Canadian shoppers. We monitor electronics prices across major Canadian retailers — including Canada Computers, Newegg Canada, and Vuugo — so you can see exactly how prices change over time and buy at the right moment.

Right now, we’re tracking 35,834 products across 36 categories, with 194,531 price points collected so far. Our scrapers run daily, 24/7, so the data is always fresh.

Why We Built This

If you’ve ever bought something online only to see the price drop a week later, you know the frustration. Sites like CamelCamelCamel exist for Amazon, but there wasn’t a good equivalent for Canadian electronics retailers. TrackAura fills that gap.

We believe you shouldn’t have to guess whether a “sale” price is actually a good deal. With full price history for every product, you can see for yourself whether the current price is genuinely low or just marketing.

The Price Index

We’re building an independent Canadian electronics price index from raw scraped data — not estimates or third-party feeds. Our Price Index page tracks how prices are moving across every category we monitor, so you can see whether electronics are getting cheaper or more expensive over time. No one else is doing this for Canada at the consumer level.

How We Make Money

TrackAura is free to use. We earn a small commission when you click through to Amazon.ca using our comparison links and make a purchase. This doesn’t affect the prices you see — it’s how we keep the site running without ads or subscriptions. We’re also working with other retailers to offer the same service.

Our Data

Every price on TrackAura comes directly from the retailer’s website. We don’t rely on third-party feeds or estimated prices — our scrapers visit each product page and record the actual listed price. All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD).
