Police is a City subtheme depicting law enforcement scenarios and operations. Produced from 2008 to 2026, the theme focuses on police vehicles, stations, and crime-prevention activities. Sets emphasize detailed institutional architecture and action-oriented scenes with police minifigures, vehicles ranging from patrol cars to specialized transport units, and civilian or criminal characters. The design language maintains City's contemporary aesthetic while incorporating functional play elements like jail cells, evidence storage, and pursuit mechanics. Notable set types include police headquarters and station buildings, patrol and pursuit vehicles, and specialized units such as prison transport and evidence vehicles. The theme features standard police officer minifigures in various roles, criminal suspects, and civilians. Police is an in-house LEGO theme with no external IP licensing.
